Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams shakkar unrefined cane sugar; adjust to taste
  • 1 litre cold water
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 150 grams sattu roasted gram flour
  • Ice as needed

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine shakkar, cold water, and mint leaves.
  • Blend well until the shakkar is completely dissolved and the mint is finely blended.
  • Strain the mixture if you prefer a smoother base.
  • Store this minty shakkar water in the fridge to chill.
  • When ready to serve, add 2–3 tablespoons of sattu per glass.
  • Pour over the prepared shakkar-mint water and mix well to dissolve the sattu.
  • Add ice cubes and stir until everything is well combined.
  • Serve immediately, cold and refreshing.
