- 250 grams shakkar unrefined cane sugar; adjust to taste
- 1 litre cold water
- A handful of fresh mint leaves
- 150 grams sattu roasted gram flour
- Ice as needed
In a blender, combine shakkar, cold water, and mint leaves.
Blend well until the shakkar is completely dissolved and the mint is finely blended.
Strain the mixture if you prefer a smoother base.
Store this minty shakkar water in the fridge to chill.
When ready to serve, add 2–3 tablespoons of sattu per glass.
Pour over the prepared shakkar-mint water and mix well to dissolve the sattu.
Add ice cubes and stir until everything is well combined.
Serve immediately, cold and refreshing.
