  • 1 green chili
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Handful of fresh parsley
  • 1 tomato
  • 400 g beef mince 20% fat for juiciness
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp pul biber Turkish chili flakes
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp salt

  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a blender, add the red pepper, onion, green chili, garlic, parsley, and tomato. Blend into a smooth paste.
  • Transfer the blended mixture to a bowl and add beef mince, spices, salt, tomato paste, hot pepper paste, and olive oil.
  • Stir well until everything is combined into a smooth meat spread.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and drizzle a little oil.
  • Take a tortilla wrap and spread a thin, even layer of the meat mixture over it.
  • Place the wrap onto the hot pan, meat side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is crispy and the meat is cooked.
  • Flip and cook for 1 more minute on the other side.
  • Remove from the pan and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and sumac onions if desired.
  • Roll into a wrap and enjoy it as a street-style meal or serve open-faced like a traditional lahmacun.
  • Serve with yogurt sauce, garlic sauce, or a side salad for extra flavor.
