Cuisine Middle eastern
- 1 packet strawberry jelly prepared according to package instructions
- 1 packet store-bought Swiss roll or vanilla cake, sliced
- 1 packet banana pudding prepared and chilled
- 1 can mixed fruit drained
- 200 ml heavy cream whipped
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
- Crushed chocolate optional, for topping
Follow the instructions on the strawberry jelly packet and pour it into a deep serving bowl.
Place it in the refrigerator and let it set completely before proceeding with the next steps.
Prepare the banana pudding according to the package instructions.
Let it chill slightly (it doesn’t need to be fully set, just cooled enough to pour smoothly over the cake layer).
Once the jelly has set, place slices of Swiss roll (or vanilla cake) over the jelly layer.
Pour the slightly chilled banana pudding evenly over the cake layer.
Add a layer of mixed fruit (make sure to drain the syrup before adding).
Finish with a thick layer of whipped heavy cream, smoothing it out with a spatula.
Garnish the trifle with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of crushed chocolate for extra indulgence.
Cover and refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
