Ingredients

  • 1 packet strawberry jelly prepared according to package instructions
  • 1 packet store-bought Swiss roll or vanilla cake, sliced
  • 1 packet banana pudding prepared and chilled
  • 1 can mixed fruit drained
  • 200 ml heavy cream whipped
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish
  • Crushed chocolate optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Follow the instructions on the strawberry jelly packet and pour it into a deep serving bowl.
  • Place it in the refrigerator and let it set completely before proceeding with the next steps.
  • Prepare the banana pudding according to the package instructions.
  • Let it chill slightly (it doesn’t need to be fully set, just cooled enough to pour smoothly over the cake layer).
  • Once the jelly has set, place slices of Swiss roll (or vanilla cake) over the jelly layer.
  • Pour the slightly chilled banana pudding evenly over the cake layer.
  • Add a layer of mixed fruit (make sure to drain the syrup before adding).
  • Finish with a thick layer of whipped heavy cream, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Garnish the trifle with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of crushed chocolate for extra indulgence.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
