4 Easy Chicken Marinades
These flavorful chicken marinades will help you prepare ahead for Ramadan, making suhoor and iftar stress-free! Store them in the freezer for up to 3 months and cook whenever needed for quick, delicious meals.

Chicken Tikka
- 500 g boneless chicken breast cubed
- 2-3 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp tikka masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Handful of chopped coriander
Malai Tikka
- 500 g boneless chicken breast cubed
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp kasuri methi
- 2 tbsp oil
- Handful of chopped coriander
Tavuk Şiş
- 500 g boneless chicken breast
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 small onion crushed & drained
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Shawarma Chicken
- 500 g boneless chicken breast cubed
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp nutmeg powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
In separate bowls, combine all the ingredients for each marinade.
Stir well to coat the chicken evenly in each marinade.Divide the marinated chicken into labeled ziplock bags (or airtight containers).
Remove as much air as possible from the bags before sealing to prevent freezer burn.
Store in the freezer for up to 2-3 months.
