  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 250 g boiled pasta of choice

  • 1 cup additional mix of pasta water and cream (for adjusting sauce consistency)

  • Fresh basil and oregano, chopped

Instructions

Step 1: Sauté the Base

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.

  • Add chopped onions and sauté until soft and translucent.

  • Stir in garlic and red bell pepper, and cook for another 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

Step 2: Build the Sauce

  • Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to remove its raw flavor.

  • Stir in paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and sugar.

  • Pour in 1 cup of pasta water and mix until smooth.

  • Reduce the heat and pour in the cream, stirring until fully combined.

Step 3: Combine with Pasta

  • Add the boiled pasta directly into the creamy sauce.

  • Toss gently to coat evenly.

  • Add about 1 cup of the cream and pasta water mixture to adjust the consistency.
