For the Fries

  • 300 g frozen fries

  • 100–150 g shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tbsp pesto sauce

  • 1 tbsp red tomato pesto pasta sauce

  • 1 tsp Caesar dressing

  • Grated Parmesan cheese

 

For the Chicken Cutlet

  • ½ chicken breast

  • Pinch of salt

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Oil, for frying

 

For the Coating

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 egg, whisked

  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs

 

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Cutlet

  • Slice the chicken breast in half horizontally to create a thin cutlet.

  • Season both sides with salt, paprika, and garlic powder.

  • Dredge the chicken in flour, dip into the whisked egg, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the cutlet until golden and cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side.

Step 2: Bake the Fries

  • Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the fries package.

  • Spread the frozen fries in an even layer on a baking tray.

  • Bake until crisp, then lightly season with salt.

  • Return to the oven and bake for 5 minutes.

 

Step 3: First Cheese Layer

  • Remove the tray from the oven.

  • Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the fries.

  • Take the tray out of the oven.
