Ingredients You’ll Need

For the Tacos:

  • 10 mini tortillas
  • 1 bunch romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese, for garnish

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 4-5 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Crispy Chicken Strips:

  • 500g chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 3 tsp each: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder

For the Breading:

Flour Mixture:

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp each: garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, salt

Egg Mixture:

  • 2 eggs, beaten

Crumb Mixture:

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Strips
In a bowl, marinate chicken strips with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Set up your breading station:

  • Flour mixture in one bowl
  • Beaten eggs in another
  • Panko breadcrumbs in the last bowl
  • Coat each chicken strip:
  • Dip in flour mixture, shake off excess
  • Dip in beaten eggs
  • Coat with panko crumbs
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken strips until golden brown & crispy on both sides. Drain on paper towel.

Step 2: Make the Caesar Dressing

  • In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the Tacos

  • In a bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with a few tablespoons of Caesar dressing and some grated Parmesan.
  • Warm the mini tortillas in a dry pan for a few seconds on each side.
  • Spread a little Caesar dressing on each tortilla.

  • Set up your breading station with three bowls: one with the flour mixture, one with the beaten eggs, and one with the panko breadcrumbs.
  • Coat the chicken by dipping it first in flour, then in egg, then in panko. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients until smooth. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
  • Toss the romaine lettuce with some Caesar dressing and grated Parmesan.
  • Warm the mini tortillas in a dry pan. Spread Caesar dressing on each tortilla.
